MVCC had its first service May 1, 1994. In beginning this church we wanted to start a church that we would enjoy and feel comfortable in. We also felt that there were others who, like us, would like a church that was casual, relaxed, relevant to our lives, joyful, full of the power and presence of God and a place where no previous church “experience” was needed. God has been blessing us ever since. We love to share His blessings with others and to help the Lord meet the needs of others. Food and clothing ministry is one of our outreach ministries through which people can be blessed.

We serve those with needs. People come from our nearby communities and outlying communities in order to receive food and clothing blessings. A large percentage of the homes to the west of our church are low income families. We have been blessed to partner with our nearby elementary schools in order to help get the word out about free food and clothing. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 10-11am, we give away food and clothing. On the weekdays, we also give food away for emergency needs.

Our program is now serving about 150 families a month. We desire to continue growing our program. We intentionally partner with our community to encourage prayer and personal growth through an intimate relationship with Jesus. Many of those who come to receive blessings participate in serving and blessing others before they even ask for provisions for themselves. We welcome assistance in blessing others and growing God's Kingdom. The more we join together, the more God is glorified.
